Tutti i Frutti!

All fruits!

The Simon Cracker Spring/Summer Collection 2012 is set in a grocery store, muggy air, women in a row that make the air with the newspaper, fruity fabrics in shades of yellow, loose, comfortable models, inspirations friendly as they call Brazil. Accessories for the hair to fish and lobster are reminiscent of the seaside resorts, ports, seaside: marine topic is in fact much fashionable beloved in the past few years.

The yellow fabric has miniatures of pineapple, papaya, bananas, all inspired by the tropical milkshake, what the designer had wanted to convey freshness. The draping of the dress maxy should remember the waves of fruit smoothie in huge glasses take away.

A contrast is the macabre black and white images from the film Village of the Damned (1960), inspired by science fiction novel Children of the invasion (1957) by John Wyndham.
