L'ho vista e mi ha subito intrigato la figura della bella e fascinosa Leonor Scherrer, figlia del noto couturier Jean-Louise Scherrer.
Trend setter francese aristocratica,sofisticata e con un gusto particolare per tutto ciò che riguarda il gotico e il mistero.E fu proprio lei l'artefice della linea di abbigliamento "Leonor Funeral Couture" dedicata esclusivamente ai funerali e creata ad hoc per vestire amici e parenti del defunto.
Con questa collezione la Scherrer ha voluto ridare alla morte,diventata troppo banale, importanza e riportare ai tempi in cui l'abito della vedova veniva guardato attentamente.

Milano. Benvenuti nella factory di Taste of Runway, dove si fa ricerca, si cucina molto, si scattano fotografie e, infine, si mangia. Taste of Runway, un racconto di felicità tra un abito e una ricetta.

Taste of Runway è un atto di design, è un affare di cuore creato per condividere il piacere della vita e dare alla moda un sapore diverso.

Anna Marconi ci racconta come è nata questa idea, che ha trasformato in lavoro: "Ho avuto, nella vita, passioni durate quanto un lampo di tuono, interessi svaniti come i calzini buttati in lavatrice. Ho conosciuto persone di quelle che quando le vedi dici “wow” ma, quando ci parli, ti rimproveri di non esser stata a casa a stirare. Tante idee mi sono passate davanti, alcune ho cercato di fermarle ma il loro prezzo da pagare era troppo alto e se ne sono andate sfidando le leggi... della fisica alla velocità di Flash. Poi un giorno mi sono accorta che basta un attimo per arrivare ad una conclusione e sono partita dalle uniche cose a mia disposizione: una discreta conoscenza della moda, una buona dose di fantasia e speranza, sogni e creatività, l’amore per la buona cucina. Ho mixato per giorni questi elementi, gli ho lasciati riposare per qualche notte ed ho creduto in loro. E’ nata così l’idea di unire moda e cucina, due universi che mai come ora hanno convissuto insieme".Con Taste of Runway ha cercato di dare un sapore diverso alla moda, una visione più ironica. Sorride e ci dice:" Se non possiamo comprarli (gli abiti) possiamo mangiarli e saremo lo stesso felici. Probabilmente perchè condivideremo questo momento con le persone che più amiamo".
Ha unito due grandi passioni. Da un lato la moda, eccentrica e spettacolare, dall'altro lato la cucina, genuina e famigliare. Ed è così che queste due signore si stanno conoscendo e dal loro incontro sta nascendo una bellissima esperienza. Taste of Runway è un racconto di felicità tra un abito e una ricetta.
