Lanvin!

Ieri pomeriggio, mentre passeggiavo in Galleria Cavour a Bologna, mi sono fermata davanti al nuovo store di Lanvin: non sono riuscita a resistere e sono entrata,a mio parere, nel paradiso del lusso...il negozio pullulava di gioielli,orecchini,cinture,anelli estremamente luccicosi...e mentre avanzavo gli abiti mi trasmettevano la loro morbidezza...ma chi c'è dietro ad abiti di questo calibro?!
Alber Elbaz, classe 1961, nato a Casablanca e formatosi a Tel Aviv.
Elbaz esordisce nella moda collaborando prima a New York con Geoffrey Beene e poi a Parigi con Guy Laroche (stilista francese). Yves Saint Laurent lo chiama come suo successore per disegnare Rive Gauche, ma presto viene sostituito da Tom Ford.
Dopo una breve parentesi da Krizia, nel 2002 fa il suo ingresso da Lanvin. In poche stagioni lo stile dell'atelier , fondato da Jeanne Lanvin nel 1889 in rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré, ha riacquistato il vecchio stampo: una sintesi perfetta di femminilità e modernità con tocchi di romanticismo e androginia.





Yesterday afternoon, while I was walking in Galleria Cavour in Bologna, I stopped in front at the new Lanvin's store: I could not resist so I entered, in my opinion, in the luxury paradise...the store was full of jewels,earrings,belt,rings all extremely sparkling..and while I advanced the clothes transmitted me their softness...but who's behind clothing of this caliber?
Alber Elbaz,class 1961, born in Casablanca and educated in Tel Aviv.

After a brief working parenthesis at Krizia, in 2002 he entered in Lanvin. In few seasons the atelier's style, founded by Jeanne Lanvin in 1889 in rue du Faubourg Saint Honoré, regained its old print : a perfect synthesis of femininity and modernity with touches of romanticism and androgyny.
